Advanced Performance Studies (11+ years)

This class is for students developing their core performance skills: acting, singing and dancing. We explore global performance styles, create performances from text as well as developing mature approaches to each of the core skills. Students studying at this level are working towards higher graded work and are ultimately aiming towards Level 4 qualifications.

Current students are working on a feature production for 2019, as well as their own personal choices from text.

Beginners & Improvers Ballroom/Latin/Freestyle (6-18 years)

The class has a wide variety of student ability and experience; and is the first step towards both competing and achieving medals and grades. Students decide if they want to compete, or do exams; but we have the final say when they are ready to do so. Classes are fun with no pressure to advance quickly, instead we focus on instilling good technique and habits from basics onwards.

We are currently working on the Viennese Waltz ready for filming.

Beginners & Improvers Ballroom/Latin (Adults)

Our adult’s class is a small class; purposely kept low to give you the best tuition while you build confidence as a dancer. We cover ballroom, latin and sequence dances and there are medal and grade opportunities should you wish to take them.

Advanced Musical Theatre Studies (11+ years)

Students in this class are working towards both graded work as well as developing essential teaching skills. One student per week leads the warm up (physical and vocal) under strict supervision before moving onto group, trio, duo and solo work. We are currently working on routines from musicals such as Dear Evan Hansen, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory alongside popular music. This class is perfect for training the all-round performer.

Advanced Performance Tech Studies (11+ years)

Students in this class are working on a wide range of backstage tech and creative roles. Each student has their own focus that we then develop a curriculum for. For example, current students are focusing on:

  • Makeup & FX
  • Sound Tech
  • Digital Media

Other subjects you may choose to study include: set design & construction, lighting, costume design, costume management, prop design & management, hair for performance, marketing, branding, business studies and stage management.
