Class details

Product gives you entry for one person to a private lesson in Freestyle at St Martin’s Parish Centre. This is subject to room availability, and there may be an additional charge for a different venue. Students can either wear our uniform, or wear a comfy t-shirt and leggings – all we ask is no logos from other schools. Comfortable, flexible footwear should also be worn – we can not teach bare foot – for this class we would advise on jazz shoes or similar.

Other opportunities

You may also choose to enter your child for IDTA Rosette awards, but these are not compulsory. You can also collect rosettes across our early years classes (ballroom/latin, freestyle, musical theatre), and your child receives a banner to put them on with their first Rosette award.

This class is an early years class – the emphasis is put on fun while learning basic co-ordination and communication skills. We welcome students from 5 upwards. Children younger than this should attend our Pop Time classes first.

These classes blend Freestyle with Street and Cheer dance styles under an IDTA syllabus. Students will be able to choose to take rosettes in these styles. Rosettes can be collected across all our styles in our early year classes, but must be started before the student turns 8 years of age. These lessons are an ideal top up to the Freestyle section of our Children’s Ballroom/Latin/Social/Freestyle classes.
